🎍あけましておめでとうございます。Happy New Year! 🎍 The beginning of year(おしょうがつ) is the most biggest celebration in Japan. During the New Year's holiday, various events are held to welcome the "New Year God" at each household to receive many happy blessings for the year ahead. The New Year God is believed to come to your home on New Year's Day to bring you happiness and health. Through New Year's events, people wish for a bountiful harvest and family safety in the New Year.
All the students tried to do "Kakizome". They wrote their wishes for the year with a calligraphy brush in the character of their choice. Also we enjoyed Japanese traditional children's game "fukuwarai".
